St Wilfred's Procession, Ripon HG4 1BP. The procession as we know it today has brightly decorated floats driving round the city, generating a carnival atmosphere. A unique event that was traditionally held to mark the feast of St Wilfrid. Renowned for its Cleveland Bay classes but also gives people the opportunity to show their skills and animals in a range of ‘friendly’ competitions.
